His designs are modern and contemporary, the functions of the products are carefully thought through, down to the very last detail. As a product designer at Villeroy & Boch, the Dutchman Chris Hegeman has been shaping the design of our Bathroom and Wellness products for more than 10 years. In the tradition of Dutch Design, his designs are minimalist and experimental, innovative and distinct. Chris Hegeman describes himself as a perfectionist, which is reflected in his work. He always designs with user comfort and convenience in mind, devoting a lot of attention to detail. "Details make all the difference," as he says.

An aspiration that has also been recognised by international design experts. His designs for the Squaro Edge 12 bath and the Just Silence spa have received numerous renowned design awards.
